JR Construction of Verndale

We are a general construction contractor licensed in Minnesota and North Dakota, we provide comprehensive services in the residential and post-frame construction sectors. We provide everything from concrete work to large-scale new home construction.

Established in 1961, JR Construction quickly became Minnesota’s go-to residential construction contractor. With a strong work ethic, we continue to grow that reputation and today can proudly say we have built over 600 homes. More than 55 years after our founding, we remain a full-service, start-to-finish home contractor, experienced in construction as well as customer relationships.

Our roots in Verndale, Minnesota allow us to draw upon a small-town service model. This same location also provides us access to expanded ideas from professional subcontractors in the nearby markets of Brainerd, Park Rapids, Wadena and elsewhere across the region.

Proudly operating with our third-generation of construction experts, JR Construction is ready to be your home remodeler, log home specialist, new home builder or roofing contractor. We are an all-inclusive construction contractor and maintain a detail-oriented mentality from the largest to the smallest job.

Our goal is to keep your project on schedule and budget, while delivering the professional services you need. Contact us today to schedule a consultation.

Now in our third generation of ownership we maintain construction crews experienced in conventional home building as well as log work, remodeling, timber frame construction, ICF building, and light commercial construction. As a growing and adapting company, JR Construction strives to provide the services you seek by keeping up with evolving technologies.
