The Schmidt Family

The business of remodeling and building homes to make homeowners’ dreams come true is considered a calling for the Schmidt family. Founded by brothers Matt and Andrew in 1996, AMEK started as a roofing company. Soon brother Paul and father Mark would climb aboard to help grow the business into the award-winning Twin Cities remodeling company it’s now known for today. The three brothers – Andrew, Matt and Paul – continue to lead AMEK Inc. in its motto: Designed for Living, Built for Life.

AMEK core values – integrity, quality, responsibility and relationships – apply equally to the Schmidt family as well as to the entire AMEK company team. We continue to add high-caliber team members to design and build remodeling projects that are both intentional and impressive.
